Ms. Kim Gray Located

Friday, June 23, 2017

The Braidwood Police Department has located Kim Gray. She has been missing since June 12th, 2017 from a Braidwood, Illinois residence.
Ms. Gray, female, age 73, appears to be in good health, rational and is not suffering from any physical injuries.
The Braidwood Police Department located Ms. Gray in Chicago, Illinois at a government office and she was positively identified by Braidwood Investigators. The department will continue to investigate as to why and how Ms. Gray went missing.
The Braidwood Police Department would like to thank all the civilian volunteers, numerous fire departments, various police departments, Shadow Lakes Home Owners Association management, and government employees and officials for their help in the search effort.

Our Mission

It is the mission of the Braidwood Fire Department to provide the highest level of life and property protection services through aggressive fire control systems, an integrated pre-hospital care system, fire prevention, public education and emergency management. To accomplish our mission we will provide fire suppression and prevention programs, state of the art pre-hospital care and effective scene management. We will stand ready to support and assist other fire service organizations in accomplishing their missions. Through prevention, education and training efforts we will strive to prevent, prepare for, or otherwise limit the extent of any fire damage or other emergency situation.

Our Mission

Braidwood E.S.D.A accomplishes its mission through a wide array of various efforts, including development of emergency plans; participation in disaster exercises; public awareness and education; and provides assistance to both Fire & Police Agencies. Emergency Services and Disaster Agency is an integral part of our City’s emergency response team. This organization ensures that updating of emergency procedures occurs. E.S.D.A members provide support to the City’s emergency responders and are prepared to assist at any major event that our City may experience. All members are entirely volunteer and have joined in an effort to strengthen our City’s emergency response in all capacities. Certifications: E.S.D.A members are trained in many different emergency management specialties and maintain a variety of certifications. A few of these certifications include: CPR, Basic/Advanced Weather Spotting, and incident command.
